Well hello everyone.
This week was dang good. Very long but we got alot of work done. We set a baptism date with Gabriel Saragosa for May 11, 2013.  He is from Mexico. He lives here by himself and he accepted a baptism date the 2nd lesson. so lets see if we can get it done. We had Jose Hernandez come to church this week. He was supposed to be baptized like four weeks ago but he never was. He still comes to church but always tells us every time he sees us that he is not going to be baptized. Weird but ok. He has received testimonies of other people and I know that he has a testimony of the book of Mormon but he wont be baptized. i have no idea what he is missing or what he is thinking but that is ok because everyone has their agency to choose.
So we are getting a visa waiter tomorrow. This will be my third visa waiter and my tenth companion. I am excited. He is going to love it here in haltom. especially because we are in a bike area. It is going to be so much easier to teach the single lady investigators that we have now because there are going to be three of us. We are going to work the new kid hard enough to progress but not hard enough to make him hate the mission field and want to go home.
So my Spanish is flying through the room. I am getting so good. I know that i am because of the blessings from the lord. I have been being very diligent in my language studies so that the lord will bless me and i know that i have been blessed. It is so fun to see peoples reactions when they hear a white guy speak fluent spanish.
so here are some pictures
#1 is where they are harvesting natural gas right next to our apartment. there are about 10 of these things in my area. They set up this huge wall all around this thing and make alot of noise all day and all night.

#2 ya its a baby chicken. pollito

#3 more baby chickens. pollitos

#4 and that is a full talapia fish being cooked. ya i ate the entire thing. Head and tail. yup it was surprisingly dang good.

Well thats all folks. See yall in a year. Love yall

Well this entire fruit thing is getting out of control. But what can I say. There is not alot of things we get to do as missionaries to enjoy ourselves. The First picture is of some sweet texas house decorations. The second is of some random cat that i fed in our doorway and the third is the crazy advertizer/salesman for a tax return company. We ride our bikes past him everyday and he is always singing some weird country songs. The las picture is......... THE BANANA PEANUT BUTTER FORT!!!!!!!!! -- i dont need to explain that.
Yup well general conference is coming up soon and i am super dang excited!! I am way pumped to be spiritually fed and to help others come unto christ. I am super excited to help all of the people here in texas. Well I am running a little short on time and i have to email my mission president still.
  Have fun this wek.

Well as every previous missionary knows and every future missionary will know, we have are very deprived and are very easily entertained. So i found a bunch of Legos and made my wanna be house, car, and get away island/boat. O ya it is sweet. This p-day was dang sweet due to all the Legos.Well what is everyone up to? So there is something in the mission called the Great Apostasy of letters. I really sucks and it usually happens around peoples year mark. Thank you so much for continually sending me letters so that i do not fall into this category of people. Your letters are greatly appreciated. I will always right back. This is a picture of fort Worth and Me. We are dang close to fort worth as you can see. only about 2 miles away. So this Saturday we have a baptism and we are super excited. His name is Jose Hernandez. He is 61 years old and has received an answer that the book of Mormon is true. Pray for his continued strength in reading and praying please.
O ya...... (read with anticipation and excitement).... THE MANGO FISH. ok so that mango was eaten in about 45 seconds and 6 bites. Yup i was a hungry boy. So with the pit i made some fins and named him MANGO FISH. yup it was too cool not to tell anyone. We price match fruit all the time at walmart. This week i baught 10 mangos and 8 grapefrutes and 4 bananas for 5 dollars. Thank you all for your support and letters.

Well my bike is fixed. Some guy at the bike shop immediatly started working on my bike and fixed it in about 10 minutes and didnt charge me a dime. Ya he is a sweet dude. My knee is still killing me but i will be ok. my hands are still cut up but they are getting better. I love the mission. It is fun.
We set a baptism date this week for Jose Hernandez who is going to be baptized march 16, 2013. It is very exciting news. He is older so he really doesn't have a good understanding of the doctrin but he understands the spirit telling him that thing church is true. It definateley is an experience to be on a mission. If you want to know what i mean- Go on a mission. The feelings that you feel when you see and are able to help be a tool for god to help change peoples lives is amazing. I truely would never change or trade my mission experience for anything in the world. I love my mission and i know that the lord is pleased with what i am doing and what 100,000 other missionaries are doing.
Well I love yall. thank yall so much for all the support.
